Alejandro Marangoni and Canadian research on chocolate
Canadian neutron user Alejandro Marangoni’s research on chocolate is helping to find a route to more efficient chocolate tempering.
Barbara Frisken of Simon Fraser University, was awarded a 2026 CAP (Canadian Association of Physicists) Fellowship. This was in recognition of her contributions to the Canadian Association of Physicists over four decades that have helped to streamline and modernize the organization; and for the application of scattering techniques to soft matter, especially lipid vesicles and complex ion-containing polymers used in fuel cells.
